Mechanic special INOP won't start. Has a ground wire/electrical issue resulting in no spark and won't start. Was run & drive till we cleaned a ground wire at the block for no AC relay ground and Jeep never started again. ASD relay was buzzing when TCM unplugged so we swapped crank sensor, replaced PCM, swapped coil pack, still no start. The new PCM was supposed to be plug-n-play but Sentry Key warning is on like it's not recognizing the key so key will need programmed most likely. You have to use jumper wire on the starter to get it to crank. TIMING looks GOOD per timing marks and OPDA marks. What we know: NO CAM SIGNAL W SCOPING, 5 VOLT REFERENCE IS HIGH AT 6.2 VOLTS, PCM GROUND IS HIGH AT 1.2 VOLTS BUT SHOULD BE 1.5 MILLIVOLTS, CRANK/CAM/TPS SHOULD BE 5 VOLTS, BUT HIGH AT 6.2 VOLTS, NO SOLID GROUND AT BLOCK STUD (we’ve since relocated), UNPLUGGED THE OPDA AND NO START, BUT SHOULD, WE REPLACED BATTERY CABLES..NO HELP. I give up.
